Amalgamated Bank

Each of us at Amalgamated Bank makes choices every day that contribute to the character of our company. We do this by making ethical decisions and dealing fairly with our customers, our suppliers, our shareholders, and with each other. It is paramount to us to provide our teammates with a workplace where they feel comfortable and supported.

As we look to the future, we each need to make the personal commitment to continue to act honorably, with integrity, and in full compliance with the ethical and legal standards set out in our Code of Conduct. It is clearly the right thing to do.

To foster a culture of trust and accountability, we’re committed to providing employees with a safe, confidential space to raise workplace concerns. Whether you feel you may be facing harassment, discrimination, interpersonal conflicts, performance problems, or other employee relations issues, the hotline offers a way to reach out – without fear of retaliation. Together, we’re building a workplace where respect, fairness, and inclusion are more than values – they’re everyday practices.

The ability for you to register your concerns, as an identified or an anonymous reporter, is critical to our employee support systems. While the hotline is a valuable tool available to you, it is not your only avenue for Speaking Up! We at Amalgamated Bank believe that it is essential that you feel secure when raising a concern, and we encourage you to communicate them openly.

Anonymous Allegations

Our policy allows employees to remain anonymous at their option. All reports or complaints are expected to be made in good faith, with honesty, fairness and full disclosure.

If you wish to report anonymously, please do not provide your name or other identifying information when submitting your concern. Please understand that, if you do choose to remain anonymous and do not provide a means to contact you, or if you don’t check back in, we may be unable to obtain the additional information needed to investigate or address your concern.

Our hotline provider will make every effort to protect the reporter’s identity. Please note that the information provided in a hotline report may be the basis of an internal and/or external investigation by the facility. It is possible that as a result of the information provided in a report, the reporter’s identity may become known to us during our investigation. Please know, though, that retaliation in any form against individuals submitting hotline reports will not be tolerated.

Submitting a Report

You may submit a report here or if you wish to speak with someone live, you may call 1-855-375-2300. When you submit the report here, you will be issued a Report ID and you will create your own PIN. Please write them down and keep them in a safe place. We ask you to use this Report ID, along with the PIN of your choosing, to return to the website to check on the status of your report and to leave follow-up information. By returning to the site, you will have the opportunity to review any Follow-up Questions or submit more information about this incident. If your report ID or PIN are lost, you may answer a few personal ID questions to recover your information. Please note that information you submit on the following pages, whether a report is fully or only partially completed, may be collected by Veritas Solutions Group and may be submitted to Amalgamated Bank.
